A bird comes to rest on a tree,
as people walk aimlessly
around me.
Nowhere to go.
Nothing to do.
Asking;
What SHOULD I do?
How SHOULD I be?
Can you let go
of the SHOULD?
Can you do
exactly what you are
doing now?
Can you be
exactly how you are
right now?
They say;
But,
then there is nothing.
Open to nothing,
perhaps there is
something.
Silence?
Discomfort?
Sadness?
Frustration?
Comfort?
Joy?
Insight?
Sound?
Breath?
Perhaps a bird
come to rest on a tree
just there.
Can that be
everything?
